I know someone that is afraid of renewing her green card because it expired in 2002. For reasons she wouldn’t say, she is now worried she will get deported when going to renew it.

IMMIGRATION QUESTION!

I am going to Nursing school in Florida and will soon take the NCLEX, and my H4 visa will expire soon, so i wonder if anyone kind of in my shoes has the similar experience or already had it can shed some light, or just foreigN nurses’ response will be worthy.

Or any tricks of trade while taking a job as a new associate degree RN.

Thank you very much.

I already booked my ticket to visit my family from Asia. I will fly in October. I just realized that I lost my Green card. I will apply this week and I am almost certain that I cannot get the replacement after 6-12 months. What paperworks do I need while waiting for my Green Card? so I can legally come back here. Your help is much appreciated!

I am married to a US citizen and my 2-year conditional green card is going to expire next year in July. If I have to visit India for 4-5 months before filing for removal of conditions from my green card, can I do that? Or is it going to adversely affect my case? An immediate answer would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My fiancee is a Jordanian national in the country on a traveler’s visa, and I know we’ll have to go through the green card interview after we get married. I live very far from the immigration office and I have a disability that prevents me from traveling.
He’s been living in the country for two years and I met him through a friend. He also has two brothers who are US citizens.

My wife is US citizen and based on that I applied for US green card 3 years ago. In August 2004 I had my interview, I took my wife and daughter with me. The officer said she would let us know what the outcome of interview was. Since that day, I have not heard the outcome of the interview. When I go to inquire, they say the FBI is checking my name, and also they have sent my files to Pakistan (where I was born) and UAE (where I stayed for few months). How long does this take, can I do something to speed up the process?
