Going Green

How many of you out there are going green? Now are you going green for the planet? Or are you going green to save money on gas, or some other benefit for yourself?

There is so much talk about going green lately, and while I know what it means I’m wondering how I can start going green myself. I’d like to minimize the footprint I’ll be leaving on the earth but I don’t know where to start.

Tips or ideas?

I have a couple of big ones, and lots of small, about an inch. This happened to me last year in Colorado, we have such a short growing season. My vines get large and beautiful with lots of tomatoes and then it freezes. Is there anything I can do this year or different next year? Please help, thanks.

We’re excited that our hospital is really beginning to do things that are better for the environment. (Using chemicals that are safer for the environment, lightbulbs that are longer lasting, etc.) We’d like to let the community know what we’re doing with a fun slogan we can put under our logo. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

IMMIGRATION QUESTION!

I am going to Nursing school in Florida and will soon take the NCLEX, and my H4 visa will expire soon, so i wonder if anyone kind of in my shoes has the similar experience or already had it can shed some light, or just foreigN nurses’ response will be worthy.

Or any tricks of trade while taking a job as a new associate degree RN.

Thank you very much.
